Dangers Of Caldera



This volcano is a popular tourist spot in Wyoming but there are dangers. This volcano is dangerous because when it erupts it can be harmful to tourists and wildlife. The volcano can be so harmful because when and if it erupts wildlife will have have no resources. Also when it erupts there can be tsunami's which are dangerous that can effect a lot of people around the volcano and in the U.S.

The shape and Eruption style for Calderas

The Caldera volcano is called a cinder cone volcano because its shape is round. These volcano's have one single vent. In Wyoming this volcano is very big and when this volcano erupts it spits out magma mostly that is explosive.

Caldera's Location and Last Eruption







The caldera volcano is located in many parks and locations over the world. One spot is The Yellow Stone national park in Wyoming. This volcano is located on hot spots of the park. The latest eruption of this volcano at Yellow Stone Park was 600,000 years ago. The oldest eruption was 2 million years ago and after that one another 1.2 million years ago. This occurred about half a million years ago. A smaller eruption happened about 13,000 years ago. This explosion erupted 240 cubic meters of debris out. Debris is an liquefied landslide.

What Type of Volcano is Caldera?


The Caldera volcano is located at the Yellowstone National Park in Wyoming. This volcano is called the giant Caldera because they erupt huge amounts of lava. These volcano's are the one of deadliest and volcano's. This Volcano is also called the Super Volcano because when it erupts the eruption is really big and can be very dangerous.When the caldera erupts the magma erupting has a high viscosity.
